At TMR, we’ve been excited about the latest effort from LARRY PINK THE HUMAN for some time now. ‘DO DON’T WILL WON’T’ is taken from their debut mixtape, M1XTAPE. The duo has pulled out all the stops for this pop-rock tune, combining minimalistic repeating patterns with big melodies and addictive production. “This song is an embrace of our lack of control,” the band explain. “Life happens and we are powerless to stop it.” It’s unsurprising that the duo makes such impressive music. Both are Mercury-award nominated, with Laurie making up half of Slaves and Jolyon having contributed production to Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. -Dan Peeke
